Elimileak Radio-Link System Features

Remote Water Meter Reading. The water company meter attached to your supply pipe is usually sited in an inaccessible or inconvenient location rendering the regular monitoring of usage via the meter almost impossible. The Elimileak System overcomes this problem by displaying your current water meter reading in a location that is convenient for you. This enables you to monitor your consumption monthly, weekly, daily, hourly etc even if your water meter is located several kilometers away. A separate re-settable counter allows you to track your water usage over a specific time frame of your choice.

Constant Flow Alarm. The Elimileak System will alert you to a potential leakage situation via a visual and/or audible alarm. The alarm will be activated when a continuous flow of water passes through the water meter, at a flow rate above a pre-set minimum, for a pre-set period of time. This minimum flow rate (or “permitted loss”) can be varied to suit your individual circumstances in order to prevent nuisance alarms due to small, insignificant water losses resulting from the odd dripping tap etc. You can determine how quickly you are alerted to the constant flow situation by setting the alarm parameters anywhere between 15 minutes and 10 days. You will then be alerted if water continues to flow at a rate above the “permitted loss” level beyond the set time limit.

High Flow /Low Flow Alarm. In situations where the “Constant Flow” Alarm is less effective (e.g. where your water flow never stops) a “High Flow” alarm function can be set to alert you if the water flow rate exceeds a pre-set maximum limit for a given period of time. Conversely, the Low Flow alarm function will alert you if the water flow drops below a given minimum rate. The High Flow/Low Flow rate can be set between 10 to 9,000 Litres per hour and the time period over which the average flow rate is tested can be adjusted between 6 minutes and 24 hours.
